California Governor Gavin Newsom answered questions for the first time since he was last seen in public getting a Covid booster shot on October 27.
Newsom abruptly cancelled his trip to Scotland and hadn’t been seen since he got the booster shot.
The California governor was supposed to participate virtually in the climate summit but he didn’t make it.
According to reports, Newsom was dealing with ‘family issues.’
However, according to a report by the Daily Mail, Newsom had an adverse reaction after getting a Covid jab and flu shot within days of each other.
Newsom responded with snark when a reporter asked him about his disappearance from the public eye.
“This is the first time we’ve seen you since October 27th answering questions…” a reporter said on Wednesday.
“That I wanted to spend time with my family? […] I put out a statement saying I wanted to spend time with my family, so we actually put that out,” Newsom retorted.
Newsom attacked Trump and blamed the media firestorm on ‘weaponized misinformation’ and ‘rabbit hole of conspiracies’ about the Covid vaccine.
