Jared Schmeck, The Oregon father of four who trolled Joe Biden into saying “Let’s go Brandon! I agree,” in a Christmas Eve NORAD phone call for children and families spoke with the Oregonian/Oregon Live on Saturday, Christmas Day. Jared told the paper, “I understand there is a vulgar meaning to ‘Lets go Brandon,’ but I’m not that simple minded, no matter how I feel about him…It was merely just an innocent jest to also express my God-given right to express my frustrations in a joking manner…”
But Democrats are not laughing at the harmless joke. They’re outraged that Schmeck “tricked” the failing president into repeating the trademark chant against him.
And now Schmeck is receiving death threats.

“And now I am being attacked for utilizing my freedom of speech,” Jared Schmeck, 35, a former Medford police officer, told The Oregonian newspaper Saturday.
Schmeck said he has been receiving vague but threatening phone calls after his call to Biden on Friday was live-streamed and reported in the media.
“I understand there is a vulgar meaning to ‘Let’s go, Brandon,’ but I’m not that simple-minded, no matter how I feel about him,” Schmeck told the news outlet.
