Arizona State Senator Kelly Townsend issued a new subpoena to the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors last week, commanding them to testify before the Senate Government Committee on Monday, March 28th at 4 pm.
The Supervisors were also commanded to produce the unfulfilled items that were recently requested by the Arizona Attorney General’s Election Integrity Unit on March 9th, 2022.
The Gateway Pundit reported that Maricopa County received a renewed request for information that was withheld from previous requests.

Last week, President Trump released a statement saying, “now is finally the time for the Arizona Attorney General to issue warrants and take his investigation to the next level.”
Arizona Attorney General Mark Brnovich has done nothing to hold these criminals accountable.
Townsend’s subpoena requested the items withheld from Brnovich and testimony to “answer questions regarding the delay in fulfilling the Attorney General’s requests, dated March 9th, 2022.”
The subpoena states, “Upon receipt, the Senate Government Committee will immediately deliver the information to the Attorney General’s office under sealed and confidential transmission.”
The committee will also ask questions related to Dr. Shiva Ayyaduriai’s signature verification analysis which found over 200,000 ballots with signature issues that needed to be ‘cured’ but only 25,000 ‘cured’ ballots were reported in the 2020 Election results.
Maricopa County Chairman Bill Gates responded to this request stating that outside counsel will represent the County at tomorrow’s meeting. He also claimed that this subpoena was “not authorized or approved” by Senate President Karen Fann.
Arizona law authorizes the chairman of any legislative committee to issue a legal and enforceable subpoena. Senator Townsend is chairman of the Senate Government Committee.

The County’s longstanding refusal to provide requested items and answer questions about the 2020 election is disgusting.
Senator Townsend told The Gateway Pundit,
Townsend: I’m not surprised by the response but I am glad they are at least going to send their attorney. We have many questions and I anticipate those will be asked on Monday. I am not sure why they are mentioning me needing permission from Senate President Karen Fann but it is a learning experience for all involved. The Senate has authority that has not been used over the years until now when this need has arisen. I am sure it’s uncomfortable for them, however, we have a job to do and tools by which to do it. I intend to use them.
